Turn any wall into a custom whiteboard for under $20
Whiteboards are a great way to track projects, dates, items and much more in your day to day life. However whiteboards can get heavy, and can involve drilling a hole into your wall. If you live on rent you know that this can be less then ideal. And even if you don’t, what if you decide to move things around and are left with a hole in your wall? Contact paper makes this dry eraser vinyl paper that is the perfect “Hack” and work around all that drilling.
In the video above, I go over step by step on how I used Con-Tact Dry-Erase Self-Adhesive Memo Board Roll from my local Michaels.
Materials:
- Con-Tact Dry-Erase Self-Adhesive Memo Board Roll from my local Michaels.
- Cricut Premium Viny Permanent in Black Glossy Finish. Cricut , Amazon, Michaels.
DIY Custom Whiteboard for Under $20: Renter-Friendly Step-by-Step
- Measure the area you want to place your Dry Erase vinyl
- Cut the Con-Tact Dry-Erase Self-Adhesive Memo Board Roll to the dimensions you need.
- Use your Cricut and design space to create the design for your Whiteboard. I made an item checkout, memory card project tracker and battery station checklist for my equipment cabinet.
- Prepare and cut your design. Put it all together onto the Con-Tact Dry-Erase Self-Adhesive Memo Board Roll.
- Add your dry eraser markers and dry eraser. If your surface is magnetic like mine is, I recommend these magnetic holders for your dry eraser markers and eraser.
