In the video above and the blog post below I go over my top Fall 2019 Nail Polish Picks. I know this video might be a little late coming so close to Christmas but if you think about it, technically the last day of fall is December 21st.
Fall is definitely one of my favourite seasons, with all the beautiful warm colours such as oranges, browns, burgundies, and yellows. The Nail polish that I have picked out for fall are from the China Glaze Body and Sol Collection, To Catch A Colour Collection, and OPI’s Scotland Collection.
All the nail polish swatches in this video are using 2 coats of the nail polish.
China Glaze Body and Sol
Copper Tunist
This metallic golden-bronze copper polish filled with shimmer is the perfect copper colour that you need for the fall. You can get the nail polish to be full opacity at 1 coat but I did 2 just to even out the brush strokes.
Glow-Worthy
This is a golden brown metallic polish filled with micro scattered holographic glitters. This nail polish needed 2 coats to get full opacity.
China glaze To Catch A Colour
Arrest in Peace
This nail polish has a black tinted jelly base, packed with a mix of hexagon shaped and mini black and red glitters. This nail polish is great on own its own or over a base colour.
Green with Jealously
This nail polish is a deep emerald green with hues of a lighter green and a gold shimmer. This polish is a perfect emerald colour for the fall and would also be a great colour going into the Holiday Season. You can get the colour fully opaque at 2 coats.
You Got Blackmail
This nail polish has definitely got to be the most interesting one in the To Catch a Color collection. It is a black base nail polish with a silver shimmer that dries to a texture finish which really elevates its look. The polish itself is very opaque at one coat but I did 2 coats to even out the brush strokes.
OPI Scotland
Edinburgh-er & Tatties
This has to be my favourite nail polish for this year in general. Edinburg-er & Tatties is a nude creme nail polish with pink undertones. The polish has a good consistency and I did 2 coats of polish.
Suzi Needs a Loch-smith
This nail polish has definitely got to the most pretty fall orange and is probably my top favourite for this fall. Suzi Needs a Loch-Smith is a burnt orange crème finish, very similar to the shade of orange that resembles fall in my opinion. The polish is opaque at one coat but like before I did 2 coats to even out the brush strokes.
OPI grabs the Unicorn by the horn
This nail polish is a nice dusty sky blue similar to a nice autumn sky crème. This polish was opaque at 2 coats.
Rub-A-Pub-Pub
Are you looking for a nice dark grey resembling the November skies here in Vancouver? Oh sorry it’s just me I guess. But really if you are looking a dark dusty grey this colour from the Scotland collection is for you. This polish was opaque at 2 coats.
Things I’ve Seen In Aber-green
One of my favourite colours for Fall clothing has to be a nice army green colour. While this colour isn’t exactly that, it is a deeper more mosey green with grey undertones. This polish was opaque at 2 coats.
